Accademia del Caffè Espresso, La Marzocco's cultural hub, presents the European Film Premiere of "The Rise of Espresso".

"The Rise of Espresso” is a feature film dedicated to Italian emigrants who, throughout the years, have promoted espresso coffee culture all over the world.

The stories in the documentary showcase the transformation of espresso from an Italian tradition to a global cultural phenomenon, and reveal dreams, challenges and anecdotes from the many emigrants who have dedicated their lives to the beverage - a symbol of Made in Italy.

Produced in its entirety by Accademia del Caffè Espresso, The Rise of Espresso embodies a novel approach to the popularization of espresso coffee culture, in the hopes of raising public knowledge and appreciation for quality coffee, and the understanding of its supply chain and the people who lie behind an apparently simple cup of coffee.
